BRIAN M. MORRISSEY, FPQP®

Office Manager | Financial Paraplanner

As the Office Manager, Brian is responsible for a variety of tasks including creating internal process documentation and workflows, maintaining the company website and social media accounts, coordinating with vendors, processing bills & expenses, and scheduling client financial review meetings. In his role as a Financial Paraplanner, Brian assists our clients in organizing their financial lives and helps to ensure that our Advisors have all the information required to deliver great financial plans to our clients.

Brian joined Shaffer Capital in April 2022. He began his career in the Information Technology sector, initially as a consultant at the Battelle Memorial Institute while finishing his undergrad degree. After graduating, Brian was hired by an IT consulting firm as their Operations Administrator. He later joined the staff of a local cybersecurity startup, primarily assisting with office management and talent acquisition.

Brian is a graduate of Ohio University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007. He majored in Political Science with a minor in History. As of 2023, he successfully completed the College for Financial Planning course and earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional designation.

Brian is a lifelong resident of Central Ohio and currently resides in Clintonville. His personal interests include live music, film history, reading, camping, trivia, and watching Ohio State football.
